Hi!  I'm Regina.  And I'm thrilled you are here.  Growing your family is such a fun and exciting adventure you are embarking upon, and I'm honored to be considered to document it.  I've been formally studying photography since 2013, but I've been a hobby photogrpaher since my eldest daughter was born in 2004.  Babies and Motherhood have always been my prime inspiration and passion and as such, I've spent little time shooting much else.  I do enjoy hiking and wilderness exploring and shooting on the trail is fun, but it will always be second to shooting what I believe is the most amazing of all creation.  New life.  I specialize in Maternity, Birth and Newborn photography with  lifestyle, semi posed or posed sessions all part of my expertiese.  As an advocate in the Birth and Breastfeeding circles, I've spent many hours learning the patterns, comforts, and safety measures that come in working with newborn babies.  In addition to my photography training, I've attended specialized training workshops geared toward working with newborns specifically.  I work alongside midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, nurses and hospital staff and am well experienced in the safe handling of your most precious little baby.  I'm a mother of three of my own and understand the ups and downs, the ins and outs, the highs and lows and the joys and struggles of motherhood first hand.  I'm also ceritfied with Babywearing International as a babywearing support educator, and so I know what poses are safe, how a baby will be comfortable, and how to ensure their bodies are adaquately supported during your entire session.

 

I use natural light exclusively.  I feel it's the best lighting to capure tiny details in a soft and natural way.   I work out of my home studio as well as traveling to shoot locations in my surrounding area.  I plan each shoot around your preferences after conducting a thorough phone interview ahead of time.  You and your baby will be cared for and captured in a flattering, beautiful and secure way.  Editing is personally and carefully done by me, in private, so as to ensure utmost care is taken to preserving the purity and privacy of your unique journey and family.
